Claritas ("the App," "we," "us") is a photo-cleaning app developed by
[Claritas] ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy
explains how Claritas handles information.
OUR CORE PRINCIPLE: YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICE
Claritas analyzes your photo library entirely on your device. We do not
upload, transmit, store, or have any access to your photos, videos, or
their contents. All detection (duplicates, blurry, dark, screenshots,
similar series, large videos, Live Photos, closed-eye photos, and any
other categories) runs locally using Apple's on-device frameworks. Your
photos are never sent to us or to any third party.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any
account information. Claritas requires no sign-up or login.
- We do not access, copy, or transmit your photos or videos.
- We do not sell or share any personal data.
- We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking, and
we do not request tracking permission.
PHOTO LIBRARY ACCESS
Claritas requests access to your photo library solely to scan it locally
and to delete or modify items that you explicitly select. We never delete
or change anything automatically. Items you delete are moved by iOS to
your "Recently Deleted" album and can be recovered for 30 days, per
standard iOS behavior.
INFORMATION THAT IS PROCESSED (anonymous, not your photos)
To operate, improve, and support the App, we use the following
third-party services that process limited, non-photo data:
- Analytics & diagnostics (Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase
Crashlytics): anonymous usage events (e.g., which screens are opened,
feature usage) and crash reports, including device type, OS version,
and a non-identifying device identifier. This data is not linked to
your identity and is not used to track you across other apps. It never
includes your photos.
- Remote configuration (Firebase Remote Config): used to adjust app
settings (such as free-tier limits) remotely. This is a download of
configuration to your device; no personal data is sent.
- Subscriptions (RevenueCat and Apple): to manage subscriptions, we and
our provider RevenueCat process purchase-related data and a
non-identifying app user identifier. Payment is handled entirely by
Apple; we never receive your payment details.
These providers act as data processors. For details, see Google's and
RevenueCat's privacy policies. We have configured these services not to
collect data used for cross-app tracking.
LEGAL BASIS (where applicable, e.g., EEA/UK)
We process the limited anonymous data above on the basis of our
legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the App, and
to perform the subscription contract you enter into.
DATA RETENTION
Analysis results (such as which photos are flagged) are stored only on
your device and are deleted if you delete the App. Anonymous analytics
and crash data are retained by our providers according to their policies.
CHILDREN
Claritas is a general-purpose utility. We do not knowingly collect
personal data from children. Because we collect no identifying personal
data and no photos, the App does not build profiles of any user,
including children. Claritas is rated 4+ on the App Store and is
suitable for all ages.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, KVKK), you may have rights to
access, correct, or delete personal data and to object to processing.
Because Claritas collects no identifying information and stores your
analysis data only on your device, you can exercise the strongest form of
these rights at any time by deleting the App, which removes all local

THIS WEBSITE (claritasmobile.com)
Our website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how
visitors find and use the site (for example, pages viewed, approximate
location at country/city level, device and browser type, and clicks on the
App Store button). Google Analytics sets cookies on your device. In the
EEA, UK, Switzerland and Turkey, analytics cookies are only set after you
click "Accept" in the cookie banner; without consent, Google Analytics may
receive limited cookieless signals. You can change your choice at any time
via "Cookie settings" in the website footer. We do not use the website for
advertising cookies. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes
technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the site.
The website loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser
sends a request (including your IP address) to Google when a page loads.
CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by
updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
